News & Announcements / Re: Discussion for moving to pvp server
« on: March 16, 2012, 01:00:39 AM »
I thoroughly enjoy everyone's feedback on this issue. Any further inputs are extremely helpful.  Just to let you guys know my immediate future plans are to increase recruiting if possible and to cause mayhem at their city. The problems I'm currently running into are  a.) people here generally want to PVE only because they get smashed in warfronts constantly and  b.)we need more than a group of 10 people online to functionally enter their city. Not to mention, ventrilo participation.

The idea of moving and this post was pretty much just to get feedback and to see if people are content with whats happening.

Jan 4th 6pm server time = DH   I need somebody to take charge of this and lead it as i will just be arriving in cali after my trip.

Jan 5th 6pm server time = GP   I will lead it.

Jan 11th 6pm server time =DH

Jan 12th 6pm server time =GP

Jan 13th 6pm server time = GSB(Greenscales Blight 20 man)
Jan 14th 6pm server time = GSB(Finish what we started ^ )

I would like raiding to go for a MAX of 2hrs that way the people who show up on time to start it get to stay and finish it. Also...fuck being in a dungeon all night.

This thread is for people interested in PVE.  Please post what you're interested in doing and what your hit/focus stats are. Also what role you want to play in 10 man raids.

All you need to know about warrior pvp and pve. By Falic

PVP - 51 Riftblade

Out of all the souls right now 51RB gives you the most overall damage in pvp while retaining allot of energy.
The most important passive skill being the 51point buff that gives you a shit load of damage on your finishers.... its the difference between 2k earth bursts and 1400 earth bursts.
The remaining 2 souls are totally up to you, however 15 paragon as a second soul gives you a passive ability that gets you 3 attack points very quickly. I use that to pop off as many finishers as possible in the least amount of time.  Others go 15 champ.... a champ/paragon mix.... 15vk..... or even 15 reaver for a ranged spec with self aoe dot heals.  And obviously the pvp soul for break free as a third.

PVE DPS --- Rising waterfall spec (Google it) its by far the best.... Its a 2hander spec and when used with the R8 axe I'm hitting for 4200 with rising waterfall every 3-4 seconds and power strike for 2k in between.... fiery burst finisher ticks also.... its rediculous and it is parsing the highest dps for warriors in PVE

PVE TANK --- If you Google rift tanking 1.6 there are tons of posts by nerds who compile data on mitigation and techniques and a core 38 reaver is the best followed with 16 warlord and 12 pallidan.    Physical Mitigation 79.9%; Magic Mitigation 54.1%; Block 70% (Tier 1 raid gear) It will be less obviously with the lower ranking gear however, you're not taking as much damage so it equals out.

Playstyle - I use a razor naga mouse with 12 numbered buttons on the side. I dont really use my keyboard for anything other than strafing around targets...tabbing... and bringing up windows and chatting. The mouse also comes with software you download from razor's website which allows you to macro those mouse buttons.  So for instance I have my spam macro on action bar under #4 button.  So on the mouse when I hit 4 it goes off right?  I've set up a macro in the mouse software that as long as I have the 4 button on my mouse held down it will be rapid spamming 4. Its like the turbo button on sega or whatever. It fires off the 4 button rapidly without me jamming on keys or doing anything really.  The reason I do this is because I believe positioning around targets and being quick to mount/dismount and kill somebody can make a huge difference. Also I dont have to find the right keys to press as they're all under my right thumb.

If anybody needs any help with macro's specs or anything warrior related let me know. I'll be going over the rogue nightblade riftstalker spec later when I'm not so bored with forums.
